3. Thoughtful Guest Favors
Out with the old: expensive, often-forgotten, trinkets; in with the new: guest favors your loved ones will actually use (bonus if they can use during the ceremony and/or reception).
Many couples opt to forego favors entirely, understandably! Our recommendation is to invest in an item or feature that will be used, or otherwise can be reused, and/or looks great in photos! Equip your secondary bar with simple initial logo cups, and use the rest at home. Fans, available in a basket or placed in guest seats, are perfect for outdoor summer ceremonies. Sunglasses are another cute favor to have available, and make for great reception photos!
Remember, you don’t have to customize everything with your name and date, and often you can reallocate a bit of your budget from customizing hundreds of individual favors to one large, beautiful feature everyone can enjoy, like a customized photo wall or dancefloor.
4. Intimate Rehearsal Dinner
Your rehearsal dinner is traditionally an opportunity to connect with your nearest and dearest before saying your vows- this means you don’t need to make the guest list almost half that of your wedding day! Intimate rehearsal dinners can be so special, allowing you and your person to spend one last occasion together as fiancées. Keeping your guest list tight allows for you to make this dinner an elevated experience, as you can focus on quality over quantity.

Adding a secondary bar, to serve beer and wine or non-alcoholic refreshments, is a great way to prevent the bar area from becoming over-congested, and keep the party flowing before the reception begins!
6. Floral Installations
An instantly impactful way to elevate your wedding celebration is by investing in a few large floral installations that set a distinct mood and theme. Guests will take photos in front of these pieces, and it’s a great way to carry your wedding colors throughout the evening. If you’re conscious of your floral budget, consider chatting with your florist about re-using ceremony floral arrangements for the reception and opting for smaller bud vases at guest tables to allow for a larger focus on bigger pieces.
