The week before your wedding is always so exciting! After all of your preparation, dreaming and meticulous planning, it’s go time. There are a few things you can do the week of your wedding to help ease you into wedding week and make you feel at peace.

1. Confirm dates, times and services with your wedding venue/vendor team

Let your mind rest with the knowledge that everyone is on the same page. Ensuring that the dates, times and services are correct on both ends will give you a sense of relief and build your confidence. Double check and let go of the stress!

2. Check weather reports

Unfortunately, the weather is something we can’t predict. Of course, wish for the best, but also plan for other options. A week before your wedding you should be able to see what the forecast looks like, and get experienced input from your wedding pros. Our recommended site of choice is NOAA! If it is something you weren’t planning for, relax, your vendor team will take care of you! Looking at the forecast a week before is the best way for you to make any last-minute changes and ensure you have your perfect day.

3. Pack for your honeymoon

If you and your soon to be spouse are heading off on your honeymoon immediately after the wedding, you’ll want to be prepared. In the hectic yet beautiful days before your wedding, it’s easy to overlook something like packing, but it’s important! This is definitely something you shouldn’t have to worry about while dancing your wedding night away.

4. Final wardrobe check

This is a fun part! With your wedding right around the corner, check all of your garments and accessories to make sure everything is set in stone. No need to have wrinkles on your wedding day, if you can steam the week prior! Not only will this make you feel complete and organized, but it will also excite you! Your wedding day outfits are a big deal, enjoy your time with them and cherish those moments. PS – Need some ideas? Check out our Bridal Style Blog

5. RELAX!

Trust us, we get it. Planning a wedding can be stressful and full of surprises. Taking time for yourself and your fiancĂ© can make the experience even better. The day before and after your wedding will be full of special moments with all of your favorite people…take these days of joy and spend some quality time with your loved ones. Soak it all up!
