- Celebration Spaces of Your Choice
Whether you imagine an elegant and elevated ceremony celebration inside our ballroom-like main hall, or saying “I do” surrounded by lush, rolling lawns and beautiful woods, we have the space for you. The Barn at The Sixpence is a purpose-built celebration hall, featuring an all white interior with classic black hardware, custom-designed chandeliers, and tons of natural light. It’s the perfect space to host your reception celebration, along with your ceremony, if you choose. Full HVAC and heated floors mean The Barn is comfortable, functional, and beautiful year-round.
Outside, there are multiple ceremony spaces to choose from. Our lawn ceremony space offers a classic, and entrancingly natural backdrop for your ceremony. Accessible by a staircase descending from the west patio of The Barn or down the sloping lawn of our yard, the lawn ceremony space is equipped with a stunning permanent arch, equipped with outlets for power. On the north side of The Barn, our patio ceremony space allows your guests easy access from inside, featuring a stained aisle and a beautiful raised pavilion at the end.
- Signature Sips to Suit You
The Sixpence bar offers everything you can dream of when it comes to sips for your special day. We’ll help you build a completely unique bar package to suit your needs. When it comes to non-alcoholic beverages, we offer a selection of infused waters, teas, lemonades, soda, and a coffee and tea package. Everything about your bar package is customizable, even down to our color-changing bartop!
- An Overnight Space to Expand Your Experience
The Homestead at The Sixpence offers a charming and beautiful space to stay overnight with us. A mid 1800s renovated saltbox farmhouse which features sleeping space for up to 10 guests, The Homestead offers the perfect space for an overnight stay. On the day of your wedding, you can just wake up and walk across the yard to your forever.
- Embellishments to Choose From
If you envision your guests at banquet tables during your reception, or imagine softening your ceremony space with flowing white drapery, The Sixpence has those options. Our embellishments menu allows for you to select from a variety of unique features to enhance your day and bring your vision to life.
- Vendors of Your Choice
The Sixpence offers an Open Vendor Policy, allowing you to partner with professionals of your choosing for your wedding day. You’re not confined to a limited caterer list – you can plan whatever catering you desire!
We do, of course, provide our booked couples a Preferred Vendor List to provide you with some direction if needed.
- Planning Meetings for Every Detail
Our wonderful team of venue managers walks you through multiple planning meetings to ensure every last detail of your celebration with us is attended to. From a floorplan system that is 2D and 3D, to aid in bar menu, to help with things you may be overlooking, it is The Sixpence’s goal to create and support and one of a kind wedding day experience that is totally YOU.
