Mikayla & Caden’s wedding blended timeless sophistication with effortless modernity. Photographed in both crisp digital and nostalgic film, their day unfolded with layered texture: lace details, clean lines, and an understated palette of soft florals and sentimental blues.

Getting Ready

The morning began with the girls getting ready first in The Homestead then in The Loft Suite; both spaces filled with beautiful natural light and quiet anticipation. Mikayla & Caden’s moms both wore something blue, creating a subtle visual link between generations, and pulling in the classic tradition of a bride having something blue with her on wedding day.
Caden and his groomsmen got ready in The Workshop (in between playing pool), their tailored look echoing the clean aesthetic of the day.

The Details

The details of this wedding were among our favorites: a refined palette of ivory, soft pinks, and muted greens that felt effortlessly timeless and wove through every details of the day. A traditional tiered cake stood as a centerpiece of elegance, while the bride’s classic gown, adorned with vintage lace detailing, brought a sense of heritage and sophistication to the day.

Film photography added a sense of permanence, grain catching light in a way that felt raw yet intentional. The interplay between the two mediums told a cohesive visual story: editorial, timeless, and deeply curated.

Our Favorite Part of the Day: Early Morning Vows in The Gardens

Captured by Embelle Photo
Before the day unfolded in full, Mikayla and Caden shared private vows in The Sixpence Garden. The early morning light filtered through blooming florals, casting a soft, golden haze across the scene. It was peaceful, just the two of them, surrounded by quiet and the gentle hum of the morning.
The moment felt intimate and unhurried, a calm contrast to the energy of the celebration ahead. Among the garden’s fresh blooms and soft greenery, they exchanged words that were entirely their own. It was a tender start to the day, one that set the tone for everything that followed.
The Love Birds

Mikayla & Caden share a kind of connection that feels both effortless and deeply grounded. Throughout the day, it was clear that their love is built on balance: calm and steady, yet full of light. They celebrated surrounded by the people who shaped their story, but their focus remained on each other. Whether sharing a private glance or laughing among friends, there was a sense of ease that defined every moment.
