Your wedding day should be a unique expression of your taste and style; from the music to the flowers to the specialty cocktails, every single detail matters – and at The Sixpence, this our priority.
We have seen many unique personal touches by our couples here. The options are endless, and in a space designed to let your creative side flourish, we look forward to seeing how you transform The Sixpence to uniquely reflect you and yours.
Here are some ideas we’ve seen and loved –
Including your pup in your special day is the perfect touch to make your day more you! We all know that our dogs are a part of the family. The Sixpence is dog friendly and excitedly welcomes your pets into the space!
Having trouble finding your ‘something blue’? Maybe dressing your flower girl in a blue dress is the perfect ‘something blue’ for you! If you’re stuck, our award-winning mixologists have crafted a famous Sixpence specialty cocktail that is not only blue in color, but also so delicious.
PS – we can make you a yummy cocktail in any of your wedding colors! AND – we’ll go one step further, did you know you can change the color of the bar top?!
It is common to have a welcome book for guests to sign as they arrive at your ceremony, but have you considered a welcome game? Maybe have your guests sign jenga blocks, a deck of cards or maybe even a cornhole board. This is a fun interactive way to allow your guests to leave notes and wish you well for years to come.
One of our personal favorite ways to see our couples add a special touch to their day is to have a signature cocktail. Our mixologists have incredible taste and are able to brilliantly embody your style into a specialty cocktail. These cocktails are always a crowd pleaser and are nothing short of delicious. We’ve seen our couples name their specialty cocktail after themselves, their dog, their cat, their favorite vacation destination, and many more things.
We know that there are often special people who are missing from your day. We frequently see memorial tables, or maybe reserved seats for those who you wish could be in the crowd. Another special way to remember those we miss is to include a piece of jewelry that used to be theirs or have something made to wear that allows you to carry them with you for this big milestone.
Everyone loves a good party favor. Have you considered gifting your guests something homemade that they could use and remember you & yours fondly? Maybe it’s your famous pasta sauce recipe, your secret family pickle recipe or perhaps it’s your favorite homemade jam. Either way, your guests will appreciate the personal thought and effort that went into this favor.
This is your reminder that you can make your day however you dream it, you don’t *have* to follow common traditions. If you can dream it, we can surely host it!
Huge shoutout to Ciera + Cort Christy, who implemented so many special touches into their dreamy October day. We’ll be dreaming of this one forever. (:
