One thing about us, we love a good party. Our VIP Night out at The Sixpence was an opportunity to host a handful of fabulous guests for an evening celebrating the summer season, inspired by creativity and the coast.
We blended pastels and sparkles, seashells and champagne, and all of the very best vibes for an unforgettable evening. As with every event we host, the guests truly made the party come to life: dressed to the nines + ready to enjoy delights designed by a few of our very favorite vendor professionals.
Thoughtfully Designed showed off with a watercolor rainbow of tropical florals arrangements, embellished with gold painted seashells. Owner Miranda’s expertise in wedding day planning and design spills over into floral work, and we couldn’t be more delighted with the pieces she dreamed up for our evening together.
Bar Director Seth + The Sixpence mixology team whipped up a handful of divine cocktails inspired by the season, with the help of Codigo Tequila’s Blanco, Rosa, and Reposado. On the menu? The PCH Old Fashioned, Rose del Mare “Pink of the Sea,” and a Coral Paloma. Check out Antonio showing off these creations here (and you BETTER be nice!)
Sweet & Savory never disappoints with their catering spreads, and this evening was no exception. Warm and cool bites perfect for snacking on throughout the evening were displayed on beautiful silver platters, and kept guests coming back for more.
Our new DJ friends Wedding Crash Kings mixed up everyone’s playlist favorites for a soundtrack of the summer. Their sleek all-white setup and TV screen display had the whole group dancing – and that’s before they set off the cold sparks and dancefloor cloud!
Live artist The Pure Paintress captured the essence of our gorgeous guests with custom hand drawn portraits, a guest activation that has quickly become a staple at our events. Going home with a lovely little painting to remember the evening by? We can hardly think of anything sweeter!
The Glam Lab is one of those vendors we just never get tired of having out. Nicole + her fabulous team offered makeup touchups to guests looking for that little extra sparkle in their look for the evening.

As the co-owner and designer of The Sixpence, Shelby Dempsey brings her extensive background in wedding photography and videography to create a purpose-built venue that blends aesthetics with functionality. After capturing nearly 400 weddings across the country and internationally, Shelby designed The Sixpence with a photographer’s eye, ensuring that every space not only looks beautiful but also serves the practical needs of both couples and photographers on their special day.
