In September of 2023, we had the honor of hosting Kyla’s sister’s wedding, Kara and Joseph, here at The Sixpence. From the moment they arrived on site, it was clear that this family had something special: kindness, joy, and a deep love that made the planning process so memorable. Kara and Joseph’s wedding day was filled with laughter, beauty, and unforgettable emotion.
So when her sister Kyla reached out to begin planning her and her fiance’s celebration at The Sixpence, we were beyond excited! And just a few weeks ago, Kyla and Samuel hosted their stunning wedding with us.

Kara and Joseph were married in Summer of 2023 in The Grotto, our outdoor wooded ceremony space while Kyla and Samuel opted to be married on our outdoor patio. Both stunning spaces that allowed for two completely unique wedding looks.
Kyla and Samuel’s wedding was nothing short of magical. Between the sweet moments shared with family, the stunning weather for their outdoor ceremony, and the absolute glow on Kyla’s face, the day unfolded like a fairytale. It was the kind of celebration that makes time slow down a little, where every detail feels just right.

We connected with Kyla after the big day to hear about her experience, and here’s what she shared:
“I have so many amazing things to say that I truly don’t know how to put it all into one little snippet! Our wedding at The Sixpence was truly everything I dreamed of and more. I knew from the first time I ever stepped foot into their venue that someday this would be the one for me. It felt like a fairytale between the beautiful white details of the venue, the florals making everything pop, the sparkles in my dress with the sun shining that day, and how gorgeous the weather ended up being for our outside ceremony on the patio. Every detail was perfect and the staff went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. I wish I could relive it a million times over.”
Reading those words brings the biggest smile to our faces. It means the world to us to be part of memories like these. Being trusted to host not one, but two weddings for this family has been a great honor.
