After the last dance and a final slice of cake, it’s time to make your exit—why not make it a fun one? Your grand exit is the perfect way to wrap up your celebration and leave your guests with one last wow moment. Whether you’re walking through a sea of bubbles, running under a tunnel of sparklers, or hopping into a getaway car, there are plenty of creative ways to make your exit grand! Here are a few of your fav moments to pin for when you’re wedding planning.
Bubbles
Bubbles make for absolutely magical photos, adding a rainbow of color and fun blurs to your exit snapshots. You can keep it classic with bubbles alone, or add props and accessories for an album-cover worthy moment! Individual bubble wands are an option, but we recommend the little bubble guns or machines to ensure you get the full effect.Get your bubble moment by grabbing a bunch of mini bubble guns or big automatic bubble blowers. Test them first to ensure you get the effect you’re envisioning!

Sparklers
Sparklers are a tried and true element for grand exit celebrations – they allow everyone to participate in the merriment, and add a sense of excitement to both the experience and photos. If you want to get creative, consider unique sparklers like star or heart shaped, neon, or extra long for a dramatic effect.
Love the look of sparkles, but don’t want to deal with the chaos of lining people up, getting everyone equipped with a sparkler, lighting them, and cleaning up? Cold sparks are a fantastic way to get the same wow effect, without having to rely on the crowd too much – Cold sparks flanking your exit make for the perfect kiss shot. And, hey, maybe you want to do both!

Camera Flashes
Make your grand exit a paparazzi moment by providing some disposable cameras with flash on, and then asking guests to snap flash photos on their cellphones to get the effect. When you spend most of the day encouraging guests to not have their phones out in photos, this can be a fun way to end the night! The key is keeping the flashing non-stop to maximize the moment!
Long Streamers
Want a grand exit option that is easy to clean up and… not on fire? We love the idea of incorporating long streamers (think All I Do Is Dream Of You from Singing in the Rain.) These would be easy to your guests to swirl around as you make your exit while providing a fun and unique backdrop for your grand exit photos!
Dance it Out
If you’re not sold on the idea of coordinating wedding guests for a grand exit moment, and you’re a bit more of the Irish goodbye type, may we recommend: dancing it out.
Have your DJ make an announcement that the next song will be the newlywed couple’s last, and get everyone on the dancefloor for an unforgettable dance party session. You can have the DJ announce your exit so everyone waves goodbye from the dancefloor, or just sneak off and leave the party rolling!
Disclaimer: while we love a fun grand exit moment, we do want to remind you that all grand exits (e.g., sparklers, confetti, flower petals, etc.) must be fully cleaned up by the end of the event. Materials used must not cause any permanent damage, staining, or alterations to the property.
Getaway Ride
We love a special getaway ride, whether it’s a vintage Rolls Royce, a sleek Corvette, a fabulous trolley, or even a motorcycle. There’s something special about departing your wedding celebration in style, and getting to arrive at your hotel for the night with your “just married” adorned ride.
