Last Weekend at The Sixpence: a Look at Recent Real Weddings

Real Weddings

There’s nothing quite like the magic of a wedding day at The Sixpence. Each couple brings their unique style, personality, and love story to their wedding day, turning our venue into a stunning backdrop for the start of their forever. Today, we’re sharing three breathtaking weddings that recently took place at The Sixpence:

Getting Ready

One of the most magical and emotional moments of your wedding morning is the moment you step into your dress—your hair and makeup is done, everyone else is dressed, the anticipation for the ceremony is building. It’s the moment where everything starts to feel real, where butterflies dance in your stomach, and where you take that deep, joy-filled breath before walking into forever.

The loft suite at The Sixpence is one of our favorite spaces: filled with beautiful natural light, mirrors, and primed for those special moments before your ceremony!

Carleigh & Joon

Carleigh chose a deep red lip to compliment her sparkling gown from. We’re loving her stunning hairstyle by Preferred Vendor Allie Powell and the contrast with her bridesmaids!

Kaitlyn looked gorgeous in a quintessential minimalist gown from Marie Gabriel Couture Bridal, complimented by her vibrant floral bouquet full of deep reds, oranges, and blues by NcNamara.

Sarah & Skylar

We are loving Sarah’s whimsical dress with floral appliqué details designed by Martina Liana Bridal from Wedding Studio Carmel. This gown paired perfectly with Sarah’s mom’s floral dress and the gorgeous sprawling flower arrangements displayed during their ceremony and reception, designed by Duet Floral.

It’s all in the details

The Sixpence is a blank canvas ready to bring any wedding vision to life—whether it’s a whimsical vintage dream filled with rich colors, a lush garden escape overflowing with blooms, or a chic, minimalistic aesthetic accented by vibrant florals. No matter your style, this space transforms to match your unique vibe effortlessly.

C & J opted for a vintage winter wonderland for their reception details. The lace table covering, vintage glasses, and dark green accents perfectly complemented the couples vibes. We also love the pearl-encrusted cake by Top Tier Cakes (and the love birds on top!!)

K & C chose minimalistic decor but maximalist floral arrangements and we are obsessed! The vibrant florals were arranged by McNamara Florist and transformed the barn interior to an unforgettable garden scape.

We love all the intricate details from S & S’s day… from the pearls, to the florals, to the “something blue” reception shoes! We also love the groomsmen’s bow ties provided by the bride’s very own The Bold Bow Tie.

Our favorite part

Carleigh & Joon

Carleigh’s gown was the epitome of unique elegance. This dress featured a high neck line, long sleeves, and the most beautiful dainty vintage lace overlay. Complimented by classic roses in her bouquet, a sleek hairstyle, and the perfect pointed shoes – we’re in love!

We adored K & C’s wedding party style! The bridesmaids wore two tones of blue and green in differently styles, the groomsmen looked sharp in bowties, and the joy + energy they brought into the room was just palpable! They were genuinely just a really fun wedding party. We love when our bar and events team note a group that was just so much fun to party with – and this was one!

When it comes to this day, we have to give it up for these dreamy florals. Arranged by Duet Floral, the rose columns and aisle arrangements featured an array of wildflower blooms. We also love how the ceremony backdrop florals were repurposed for use during the reception and how Sarah’s dress & veil pulled in an additional floral detail.
