Why should couples hire a videographer?
CC: I’m sure you’ve heard it before, but in case you haven’t, not hiring a videographer is the #1 regret for married couples. Out of all the investments you make for your wedding day, you only get to walk away with three things: your dress, photos, and video. You’ll likely only wear your dress once, which means your photos and video are really all that last. They both document everything and everyone involved in your wedding day. Neither photography nor videography is more important than the other; they both have their place and purpose. But the main reason we think you should hire a videographer? Audio. The biggest distinguishing factor between photo and video is the use of audio. It’s become somewhat cliché to say now, but the ability to go back and hear all the words spoken on your day—from the vows to speeches and everything in between—is invaluable.

What sets you apart from other videographers in the industry?
CC: We have quite a unique story compared to other videographers and even other husband-and-wife teams. However, like many, our journey into the wedding videography world was accidental. Camden was pursuing and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Film & Video Production (where he received two student Emmy awards), while Claire was working professionally as a certified makeup artist, primarily for weddings. With both of us working as artists, it’s no mystery that our professions naturally progressed into full-time wedding videography. Heavily influenced by our backgrounds, we have always upheld our major brand pillars: cinematics and hospitality.
It is our goal to create movie-quality films with servant-hearted hospitality. We take pride in delivering a jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring production in a way that seems almost impossible given how small our technical presence feels on the wedding day.

What are some of your favorite moments of the day to capture?
CC: Claire, a true empath, is always in tune with the personal, emotional connections on the day. She loves to capture those split-second moments that most would miss: grandpa giving a kiss on the cheek, the bride squeezing her dad’s arm before they walk down the aisle, the groom nervously fidgeting as he anticipates seeing his bride. Any moments full of emotion—Claire has already anticipated them, camera ready.
Camden, a dopamine chaser, loves the big, bold, dramatic moments. Whether it’s room reveals, choreographed first dances, fireworks, or an epic aisle walk, anything that makes you say, “Wow!” is Camden’s favorite to capture.

What tips do you have for couples looking to hire a videographer?
CC: If you have a wedding planner, trust their recommendations. Their credibility is on the line for any vendor they point you to, meaning their recommendations are highly valuable. If you are booking vendors yourself, research, research, research! Videography (like photography) is not one-size-fits-all. Shooting style, editing style, visual style, musical style, and experience are just a few of the many variations you can find among wedding videographers. Do they offer a high-touch or low-touch experience? Do they do high-volume or low-volume? Art is subjective; there are no right or wrong answers or preferences, but you wouldn’t believe the horror stories we have heard simply because there wasn’t enough research done.
