What sets The Glam Lab team apart from other makeup artists?
“I think what sets The Glam Lab apart from other MUA’s in the industry is our desire for a relationship with each bride that sits in our chair. We love getting to truly know our brides and allowing them to feel like a friend is getting them ready on such a big day in their life. This is so important for us as artists because with a glam squad there is a big trust factor there. What are a few of your must-have products in your bridal makeup kit?
“My makeup must have products are a good moisturizer, this really sets up the skin for success when creating a makeup look. A setting mist/ fixing mist can really make your makeup last throughout the day… through the heat, sweat, tears, etc. No look is complete without a setting mist – if I didn’t have one with me on a wedding day, I’d simply be crying because the look wouldn’t feel complete. ” – Nicole Flores, Owner, The Glam Lab Indy
What tips do you have for brides looking for a makeup artist?
“The best tips for a bride in search of a MUA is to do research! Research the glam squad and/or artist to check out their portfolio. Social media has become so incredibly large, that a social media presence is truly so important to me as a Makeup Artist. You can feel connected to artists through social media and everyone is different. Go with the artist who resonates with you, whose work you truly love and admire. Pick someone who is going to take care of you and your bridal party as they would their own. ” – Nicole Flores, Owner, The Glam Lab Indy
