The Story Behind The Business

With over a decade of experience in the industry, Rachael, owner of PLT, brings a depth of knowledge and creativity to each of her parties. Before Party Little Things, Rachael worked as a luxury wedding and event planner. She designed, styled, managed, and executed high-profile events and weddings all over Chicago. It shaped her to handle even the most complex events with finesse. She also worked in the restaurant industry as an events/catering manager for a premier hospitality group in Chicago. Rachael’s previous careers have given her the unique experience of being able to see and understand both sides (the venue and client) fully.
Rachael moved from Chicago to Indy in 2020 and started up PLT. She saw a need for more stylized, luxury events in the Indy event scene. She has such a passion for visual design and her favorite thing to do is ensure the combination of color, scale, texture, and balance is achieved in each event and her personal favorite…tablescapes.

In late September 2023, Party Little Things created a wedding design that we continue to dream about. Stephanie and Anthony said “I Do” at The Sixpence, and booked Rachael as their designer to bring their vision to life.
