Beautiful signage, exceptionally curated for every step and event along your wedding journey, is a detail we believe you shouldn’t miss! The Lettering Grove specializes in wedding stationery, calligraphy, and watercolor paintings. She creates anything from wedding invitations to day-of stationery and signage. The Sixpence has had the opportunity to host The Lettering Grove and its owner, Sam, in our space for creative events and weddings! Our couples who have had the chance to work with her always love having her as an addition to their day, and she never fails to impress our Sixpence team.
While based in Indianapolis, Indiana The Lettering Grove also serves couples nationally across the United States. Sam, the owner & designer of The Lettering Grove, started in 2017 with only calligraphy services. She created small orders such as place cards for weddings and also did many on-site calligraphy jobs for businesses, such as Macy’s and Louis Vuitton. Sam expanded in 2020 to wedding invitations and watercolor paintings, a large part of The Lettering Grove.

“The Sixpence is always a fun venue to for my work to be displayed because of its neutral tones it can be dressed up in color or it can have a very clean modern look in black and white. I love that everything looks great there! I have also gotten the chance to paint large watercolor paintings of the venue for guestbooks for several couples, which is such a beautiful way for the couple to bring a piece of their wedding home with them. “
