Question: What’s your favorite thing about creating floral designs/installations for a wedding day?

“My favorite part is knowing that we’re helping make a couple’s wedding vision a reality. We love taking the ideas, colors, and feeling they’ve been dreaming about and turning them into something they can actually experience on their wedding day.
For us, it’s not just about creating beautiful flowers – it’s about creating a feeling. Whether a couple envisions something soft and romantic, lush and garden-inspired, elegant and timeless, or completely their own, there’s nothing better than seeing that vision come to life and watching their reaction when they see it for the first time.”
Question: What’s one tip for couples who are thinking about selecting faux florals for their day?

“Our biggest tip is to do a true cost comparison before automatically assuming fresh flowers are the better option. Luxury faux florals have come such a long way that couples can achieve a beautiful, high-end floral aesthetic without many of the limitations that come with fresh flowers.
And couples don’t have to choose one or the other. A beautiful wedding can absolutely combine fresh and faux florals. If there’s a particular floral detail that’s especially meaningful to you – perhaps your bridal bouquet or a favorite fresh flower you’ve always dreamed of including – you can have that created with a florist and use luxury faux rentals throughout the rest of your wedding.
With faux rentals, couples know exactly what they’re investing in upfront, there are no seasonal availability surprises, and the flowers look beautiful from the moment we install them through the last photo of the night. They also photograph beautifully and can allow couples to be much more intentional with their floral budget.

We know that when we’re working a Sixpence wedding, there is a team behind the scenes who cares just as much about the couple’s experience as we do. That kind of collaboration makes all the difference.”

Question: Favorite wedding memory?
“It’s honestly impossible to choose just one! But some of our favorite moments happen during teardown – when a groom will track us down before we leave just to tell us how much his bride loved the flowers and how beautiful everything looked.
Those little moments mean more than they probably realize. We spend so much time behind the scenes bringing everything together, so hearing directly from a couple that we helped make their day special is incredibly rewarding. It gets us every time.”

Question: What’s the next big thing for Lily Ever After?
“We’ve grown so much in our second year, expanding from a floral rental company into more of a design studio, and we’re incredibly excited about where that growth is taking us.
Our goal is to continue evolving with the industry while staying true to what makes Lily Ever After special – creating elevated, trend-forward floral artistry with the quality, consistency, and personal service our couples can count on.
We’re expanding our offerings, exploring new design possibilities, and continuing to build Lily Ever After as a luxury floral option for weddings and special events throughout Indiana.
